Programs - Community Service Worker

This program provides students with skills necessary to help individuals, families, groups and communities in need of assistance and support. The Community Service Worker program is intense and involves a great deal of small group work, practice interview and exercises in self awareness. The typical student must be mature, dependable and committed. Graduates of this program can expect to be eligible for an entry level position as a counselor in a variety of settings in the community and social work field. Openings requiring this type of training are becoming more and more widespread, especially in the non-profit sector.
