- This program provides students with skills necessary to help individuals, families, groups and communities in need of assistance and support.
- The Community Service Worker program is intense and involves a great deal of small group work, practice interview and exercises in self awareness. The typical student must be mature, dependable and committed.
- Graduates of this program can expect to be eligible for an entry level position as a counselor in a variety of settings in the community and social work field. Openings requiring this type of training are becoming more and more widespread, especially in the non-profit sector.
